유관순열사 생가지

이곳 유관순 열사 생가 터는 1902년 태어난 고향이자, 유관순 열사가 1919년 4월 1일 아우내 장터 만세운동을 준비하고 진행한 장소로, 당시 태극기를 제작하고 결의한 중심 공간입니다.
Birthplace of Yu Gwan-sun
This site is the birthplace of Yu Gwan-sun, born in 1902, and served as the central location where she prepared and organized the Aunae Market Independence Protest on April 1, 1919. It was here that she gathered with others, made Taegeukgi (Korean national flags), and pledged their commitment to the cause of independence. This humble birthplace holds deep historical significance as the starting point of one of the most iconic acts of resistance during the March 1st Movement, led by one of Korea’s most revered independence heroines.
