Bank of Korea Building
Originally constructed as the Daiichi Bank's Joseon branch by the Japanese in 1907 and completed in 1912, this building later became the Bank of Joseon under Japanese colonial administration. It served as the financial headquarters of colonial Korea, symbolizing Japan’s economic dominance and control during the occupation. Today, it houses the Bank of Korea Money Museum and stands as a historic structure reflecting Korea’s colonial past and the complex legacy of its financial institutions.
